Hi guys. I'm going to copy the question i posted on e90post here as well, in the hopes of finding some knowledge.
I found a cheap 335xi (2011, lci, manual, e92, n55) on mobile.de (i'm in europe), and it has the front differential blown to pieces (i assume it is due to the car being on lowering springs). The 7-digit series of the car is E246605. When looking up the front diff, realoem spits the part number 7575785, which supercedes part number 7560220. However, i cannot find any of these two parts locally, so looking up 3.08 bmw differentials, i can find one with the part number 7591997 for a decent price. I was wondering if any of you guys know a few part numbers for differentials that might fit, so i can replace the diff for under 500 euros (not 2500 as is the asking price for the 7575785 part). Would the 7591997 diff work on this car? It is a much more common part and i can source it for 250-500 euros, compared to 2000+ that suppliers are asking for the 7575785 part.
