So the time that I never ever thought would come has somehow come to pass. I’m breaking my 2006 335i SE auto that I have owned and been building for nigh on 11 years. Been a love hate relationship as I’m sure a lot of you can relate to.

I built this car to clubsport spec and to be the best in the country with no expense spared. I planned to use it for ring trips, euro trips and track days.

Car has been used periodically through various stages of the build, basically covering minimal mileage over the years.

I have literally rebuilt this car nut and bolt, it is Immaculate throughout. You could eat you dinner off the underside. Every underside component has been stripped and Replaced or blasted and powder coated, literally every nut, bolt clip and fixing is new!!!

Rear subframe has been powder coated black with black series mounting bushes, every other suspension bush is new genuine BMW. Front subframe also powder coated back. Again new arms and bushes throughout along with new bolts and fixings.

Engine is a forged build. JE 84.5mm 9.5-1 compression pistons Carrillo rods etc. I did plan to evolve it further by going n53 head conversion schrick cams, a Drexler diff and AP radicals all round. However my Circumstances and feelings for the car have changed (which I honestly thought wasn’t possible).

I have a 1986 E28 Alpina B10 3.5 which needs a resto and also a mint LCI E92 M3 which I really want to start playing with, (Evolve supercharger kit etc..) so after much debating and back n forth I have decided to break this one!!!

So that’s a very brief summary! Anyway all parts aside from engine are available now. As I am still unsure weather I want to sell or keep the engine for a Future project. I have many many pics of all parts and most of my installation processes I have pictured.

I’m almost certain there is stuff I have missed out on this advert as my brain is now frazzled from trying to remember it all!!! I will update accordingly as parts sell and if I remember bits I have missed I will add.

Most prices could be negotiable and Discounts can be made if buyers wanted to purchase for example, the whole brake set up or whole rear end etc then a deal could be made.

ENGINE

• Built engine, Forged lower compression JE 84.5mm pistons 9.5-1 compression ratio with skirt coating, Carrillo rods, ARP head studs, VAC sump baffle, VTT crank hub fix, VTT crank bolt capture, crank belt protection plate, plugged PCV head ports, new valve cover, new oil pump, new chain and guides.

INTAKE

• Tuningwerk Carbon fibre motorsport airbox with k&n filter. Airbox has few age related marks, anyone in the know knows these are like hens teeth and also cost silly money £2500 to be precise! These are a very large airbox and will require some modding to fit depending on the position of your BOV. Priced at £700

• macht Schnell air scoops. SOLD

• VTT 2.5”inlets. SOLD

TURBO’s

• VTT GC lite 2.0 turbos ceramic coated Manifolds and hot sides. only covered around 1500 miles. Cost something like £3600 with ceramic coating shipping and import tax etc

• RB high flow oil drains, like new installed when turbos went on. Cost £240 new would like £175

• HYDRA PERFORMANCE heat shield. New in box £80

• Genuine 3.5 bar Tmap with BMS adaptor harness. Cost £150 new would like £100

• New-ish boost solenoids. Covered few thousand miles. £90 each new looking for £35 each.

EXHAUST

• VRSF ceramic coated DP’s. Few ages related marks covered about 5000 miles all in. £200

• VRSF V2 3.5” street exhaust system. small scrape on mid pipe asiade from that in very good condition, covered around 5000 miles. £800 new £675

CHARGE PIPES HOT & COLD SIDE

• Black ceramic coated VTT hot side charge pipes modded to fit RHD if used with custom steering shaf that I had made. £200

• Forge Motorsport charge pipe with V2 50mm bov. Has been modified to fit with tuning werk air box. SS braided vac line, black AN-4 banjo fitting and 1/4” nipple Cost £340 new minus braided line and fittings, I would like £250


INTERCOOLER

• PSP 750 FMIC, (has 2 tapped out meth ports in outlet side) SOLD

FUELLING

• Aquamist hfs-4 V3.1 progressive meth kit and aquamist 10L boot mounted tank with vent line, Meth kit has only been run for around 1500 miles using a 70:30 mix. Few spare to go with it. Red led display. System cost over £1000 with 10L tank and other options. Looking for £700

• Boost concepts stage 2 LPFP. SOLD

• Genuine BMW index 12 injectors covered around 5000 miles. Cost about £1300 for full set
Looking for £125 per injector or £600 for set

IGNITION SYSTEM

• NGK 95770 1 step colder spark plugs, £75 new looking for £40

• V1 precision raceworks coil kit, very good condition covered around 5000 miles, will need new connectors for used kit as there are the solder version! also have a full spare kit never fitted in box. Cost £520 new looking for £300 for used kit and £450 for new kit.

OIL COOLING AND WATER COOLING

• Mosselman oil cooler kit with billet oil thermostat housing, 85 c tstat and setrab 19 row oil cooler with ss braided oil lines and black AN-8 fittings, this is an awsome kit in very good condition only covered around 2500 miles. Cost £800 new looking for £650

• ECS Oil filter Cap. Cost £120 new, get it for £50

• CSF alloy rad for auto trans cars. Very good condition covered around 5000 miles. £670 new looking for £500

PCV SYSTEM

• RB turbo externalised PCV system with plugged head ports and twin oil catch can set up (one can BMS other Chinese copy) with ss braided hoses and black AN fittings, AN-6 low side and AN-12 high side. £187 new minus cans. Would like £200 for full kit with cans.

UNDER BONNET AESTHETICS

• R-tuned carbon fibre engine cover, mint, literally like new only been fitted for like 250 miles. £400 new would like £300

• Racing Dynamics oil filler cap cover. £90 new want £50

TRANSMISSION

• Fully rebuilt auto ZF6hp21 gearbox using upgraded sonnax bushings. Stage 3 XHP gearbox software. Covered around 5000 miles since build, lovely working box. Rebuild cost of £2500 plus XHP software and fresh service kit. Asking price is £1650

SUSPENSION SYSTEM

• KW V3 coilovers, very good condition covered around 2500 miles. Been used on factory damper settings. Cost £1850 asking for £1450

• Millway motorsport adjustable top mounts (brand new in box never fitted) £420 new would like £400

• H&R anti roll bars, few age related marks covered about 5000 miles. £350 new asking for £250

• M3 front control arms bought new covered around 5000 miles. £300

• M3 upper and lower rear control arms strong flex upgraded bushes. Bought new only covered around 5000 miles £350

• Manzo adjustable rear toe arms, again like new only covered around 5000 miles. £270 new looking for £150

STEERING SYSTEM

• M3 steering rack with new track rod ends. Good working condition. Are very worth while upgrade. £250

• Custom small diameter steering shaft to make VTT outlets fit. £150

• ECS alloy power steering pulley. Covered about 5000 miles. £50

• OBP alloy power steering reservoir. Cost £135 new id like £100

DRIVE TRAIN

• Fully reconditioned 3.46 FD large pumpkin diff with Quaife ATB, VAC motorsport billet finned diff cover short finned version. Any 35i needs a proper diff standard or tuned this diff not only looks beautiful but has only covered a few thousand miles since birds autos fully built it. With the bill from birds and the VAC cover this cost me £3700 I think £1650 is a fair price

• Custom diff lock down kit to suit VAC cover £100

WHEELS AND TYRES

• Black Apex SM10 10”x 18” ET33 rear and 9”x 18” ET30 front lightweight wheels, mint wheels literally like new! Cost £1750 new

• Toyo R888r tyres 275/35/18 rear, 245/40/18, nearly new covered about 500 miles tops, never seen the track. Cost £890 new

BRAKING

• Forge motorsport 380mm 6 piston front BBK in black finish, awesome stopping power, 1500 miles tops on this kit so in very good condition. £2000 new this kit has DS2500 pads at which added the extra cost. Looking for £1500

• Fully stripped and rebuilt standard rear callipers, painted and baked in black, with stop tech slotted discs and goodridge braided hoses and DS2500 pads. Covered about 2500 miles. Cost about £500 in parts for rear brake set up asking for £350

• M3 brake master cylinder, bought used unsure of mileage but looks in very good condition covered about 2500 miles on my car. £125
