This stud extractor tool cost 20 bucks. Money well spent.

I bought it after spending about an hour dicking around with the two nut method and vice grips trying to get a stud out.

Using this tool i had the stud out in under 30 seconds. That's including tightening the tool onto the stud.

This tool works great because it grabs the entire stud firmly. No rounding out with vice grips or snapping half the stud off using the two nut method.

Oh....For the new fixers. Cause there's newbs here fixing stuff.

You'll also need a 1 inch open ended wrench and a 1 - 7/16 open ended wrench.

Big one to hold the tool. Smaller one to crank it onto the stud.

Once it's cranked down, turn it off with the big wrench.
