BMW F01 750Li brakes. They are also on other models (see list below). These brake assemblies are useless to salvage yards - who buys late model brakes? No none as no calipers are worn out yet.

I purchased two complete front caliper assemblies - calipers, mounting brackets, wear sensor, like new factory pads ... for ... wait for it $60. And that was shipped :). I spent $190 shipped for Power Stop EBR1220XPR Front Evolution Drilled and Slotted Rotor Pair. I was not going to spend $500 on the factory disks. FYI one can buy Zimmerman rotors from FCP Euro for $200 shipped with FCP Euro's lifetime warranty. These are 374mm x 36mm instead of the stock 348mm x 36mm rotors.

Here are the models from which one can purchase the brake assembly, in the USA:

Anyway installation is dead nuts straightforward. I have the M-sport option on my 535d with the staggered 19" wheels. You'll need 19's as these are a tight fit.

One thing to note - when you change caliper assemblies, the brake line for the calipers goes up to the hard line attachment point at the body. COMPLETELY CLEAN OUT that area before disassembling the connection. That spot collects rocks, dirt, etc. I used a screwdriver to remove rocks, compressed air, and liberal amounts of brake cleaners. You don't want to introduce dirt into the brake line system.

I actually found too that 50i brakes bolt up. 365mm vs 330 and two piston calipers in the front. Rotor is also slightly bigger in the rear and pad is about 1.5 times bigger than stock. But I'm gonna look into that X5M upgrade....the biggest issue is running 18" snow wheels on them

And I have no idea where these guys get X5M bits so cheap. Everywhere I look it's $1500 for calipers or $3000 for everything lol

Agree. $500 is not going to be replicated. I wondered about the 50i stuff but didn't see anyone mention it. That would be the same trick I pulled on the F10.

I'm finding 50i calipers for like $50-100 each. There's a yard up in CT that took delivery of an Msport one, maybe I can strike a deal and get all the fender flares/CIC screen and brakes
