AP Racing Big Brake Kit on front of Z4(e89) 3.5i

Hello There,
I am new to this forum and have been a proud Z4 owner since 8 months.
I did a upgrade to my front brakes one month a go and wanted to share this with you.

I got the system from a seller on EBAY UK, i listed what's in the kit below:
- 370mm diameter, 36mm thick, floating J-Hook rotors.
-AP Racing 6 piston, Radical II calipers.
-Braided brake lines
-Bracket for the calipers to connect with the stock fastening location.

Everything was bolted to the car in 3 hours and it felt like OEM parts. Everything fit and lined up perfect.

Yes, I want to put in D2 4piston calipers with 356mm rotors.
This is a system with a integrated parking brake in the caliper

Welcome. Nice work. I didn't know about those rear calipers - only the PB Brakes rear for EMF.

Actually there are some more, i will list them below. I have the feeling they are all very related and made somewhere close to each other in Taiwan.

Especially CEIKA let's you choose a lot, including the material that the pistons are made out of and if you want wave rotors they can do that too.

Two years ago since my last post on this subject, I finally got the rear big brake kit in. In the end I decided to also go with PB-brakes. Got small six piston calipers with 356x28mm rotors for the back to go with the AP-racing calipers and 370x36mm rotors in the front.
And to make it look more oem, I put AP-racing stickers on the rear calipers, yes I know very bad.
Ps there is a system included to act as the electronic parkingbrake.
