Hi Peeps,

If anyone has time to quickly view the video and give thoughts, I thank you heaps!

Managed to get a quick clip of the rough idle upon start up and if you listen closely after the start up, there's this terrible metal rattle sound, it could be the wastegate but not sure. But what I'm more worried about, if you listen to the video closely when the car starts up you can hear the RPM's dropping and the engine suffering to keep the RPM's stable for 3ish seconds.

Another video I tried to get but it's hard to capture, when I'm just general driving, the car goes into a deep note and starts to backfire badly, but after a while you can hear a piercing sound coming from the engine bay then it goes back to normal, it's so odd..

If anyone has any idea, please let me know, I've made a few posts about this, feels like I'm posting too much but just trying to get to the bottom of this 😬

Have you ran codes? If I forget to plug my map sensor in I usually get start similar to that.

Hey man,

Yeah I've ran codes and nothing comes back, Ive also ran software called ProTools and nothing came back either...

Yeah map sensor is plugged in good, it's so odd how it does this at, I can't seem to find the problem and it's not in injectors as I replaced them with index 12s.. unless one is faulty but don't know what the chances of that happening..

My car would do this or something similar if I had cold start noise reduction ticked in MHD. Looks like you have that

Believe it or not dude, I found out it was my charge pipe doing all that rough idling, (I did have an ebay one) but changing back to the OEM one, it didn't do it anymore, it was a smooth start

But now I'm having other issues 🤦‍♂️ These cars are fun but damn they can kick you hard in the leg sometimes

Are you having other issues as a result of the rough idling? You could try resetting your adaptations
