General question regarding the ECU reporting of a knock event ‘Knock Detected’ and its relationship to timing pull, or lack thereof. In particular, N55, stage 2 BM3 93 octane.

What can cause a knock event to be detected without anytiming pull being recorded?
Conversely
What can cause a large amount of timing pull without triggering a recorded knock event?

Is this a data logging sample rate issue when reviewing logs, where knock events are missed?

Thanks in advance
