Or lugs I should say...

After drilling the 1/4 in holes in the fuel hat and installing power lugs for the PR harness (to hobbs) for my 2nd 450, I'm getting pooling of fuel accumulated on the back of the fuel bucket hat.

Installed a new gasket, new fuel hat, new fuel ring with the proper tool thinking I ruined the last ring or seal.

Small stream of fuel leading from terminal lugs. I've tighten these suckers down twice and it's still happening.

What, if anything are you all using to seal this up between the upper and lower nuts? My kit didn't include rubber/nylon washers or anything.

Permatex fuel-safe gasket dressing on a few washers and on the threads. Let it tack up. Threw it back together. Today I made some pulls. Dry as a bone. No more leaky nuts. Amped I didn't crack the vent hose or toss one of the fuel line o-rings. Gonna give it a few days, top off the fuel and keep an eye on it.

Now that I know that my nuts leak, I guess I could go up a size bolt and not have to use a sealant.

Happy to not be hunched over in the backseat another night.
Thanks
