MHD issues and concern thread....my bad for derailing the anti lag @Jake@MHD and @nyt thread.
Since MHD update, a few of us have been having issues.
My issue is I can no longer do a 2 min flash (as I found out last night) to adjust options such as idle, coolant target temp, burble, etc.
It asks for FULL write.
Same phone Galaxy S21 Ultra

No fix found.
Please post any issues and remedies so we can get back on track.

Do the full write (likely needed after our MBoost rewrite), it should be back to short writes after that.

Ty I will try it. I did not want to try (last night) as I was only going to show a buddy the simplicity of the app.

Ty, it fixed all my issues, including having to hit clear multiple times to delete any shadow codes.
All is normal again.

Quick question for @Jake@MHD
What is the technical difference on BEF and custom flash option ?
When MHD was first introduced I was told I could use either to load my tune as I use JB4.
Never had an issue either way. Tried both. Curious as to what is different.

The BEF license is cheaper as it is for use only in conjunction with a JB4. As such, certain tables like WGDC are zeroed out, as the JB4 is controlling boost and not the DME. There are a few other specific changes we make at flash time for Terry as well.

I did the 100.00 purchase when MHD was first released years ago so I have the option to use either. Never saw a difference or issue. Should I only use the BEF option when I make any changes to options ?
I was told either was fine as I mentioned.
My mistake was the 100.00 purchase vs the 80.00 on MHD when first released.

I also have both licenses (BEF license and normal) and this interests me too. I'm using JB4, but last time I installed BEF via normal Flash. Each license I purchased separately. BEF, Normal flash, monitor and flexfuel. Yes, a man can be stupid .

If you are flashing a BEF, you should choose that option.
