So I needed a new battery for my BMW 120I n54 powered hatch so with a quick chat to Vic from Lithiumax Australia
decided to get this bad boy for my 1m and the current battery will continue to power our hatch project.

As the 1m is not a racecar but does lots of show pony duties and it needed a deep cycle battery with cranking capabilities
and the Restart function just in case.

The battery can be restarted via the app and can be fully monitored to keep an eye on any draw on the battery whilst the car is sleeping.

With 1200cca and 1400cca for 3-5 seconds peak with a 200ah bit of an overkill for my needs but it's there if needed.

Needed a bit of work to make it fit but well worthwhile, when the car cranks the lights don't even dim like the original AGM battery.

I need the battery for the undercar lighting I installed for all the night shows lately and will see me through with no issues.

It weighs 10kg vs 24kg of the original AGM battery, yes its a little heavier than my previous 2.8kg lithiumax but
still a massive saving over the original OEM unit.

Interested how does the IBS system cope with this since the charge ‘ discharge profiles are different to the AGM?

The BMS inside the battery takes care of it all, you can have it set for lead acid or agm as it makes no difference.

The battery is designed to drop straight into any lead acid or agm cars, even on old school cars like old comaros for eg.
