I'm new to the tuning scene I daily my beloved ZHP e46 bone stock.
I just got an almost fully optioned 2011 f10 535 6mt and my goal is getting it to at least 600whp but still having it reliable. from my searching, it seems an uphill task but I'm dedicated to the cause.

Anyone willing to point me in the right direction or throw some helpful hints is appreciated!

Welcome to Spoolstreet. There is a mountain of info on modding the N54 drivetrain, as you likely already know. How many miles? The first thing you'll likely deal with is getting all the maintenance up to spec. What do you know about the car's maintenance history (do you have service records)? What's the VIN?

Hey guys,

@fmorelli Its an N55 535i
VIN: WBAFR7C51BC267341
90k miles
I don't have records but BMW inspected it and I need new engine mounts.
I need to replace the gearbox as second gear is grinding/rough.

@Slowagon54 I'm beginning to see that 600whp could be tough! :disrelieved: I'm hoping someone has already done it reliably

I'm wondering if it makes sense to buy a kit for a 335i n55 that is made for 600whp and try to have it modified to fitšŸ¤”

I plan to get
VRSF intercoolers(which is on backorder). but after some searching, I'm considering a Wagner intercooler.
Catless downpipes (backorder until the end of the month)
Berger intake
Aluminium charge pipes
Bootmod3

I'm looking to see what else is available and needed for my goal.

I am sure there are some serious N55's out there with lots of power. But from what i know the N55 is limited to increased HP/Torque. VRSF IC are as good as Wagner ones. Just make sure its big enough :) . If you have some money left go for the tube and fin IC. Downpipe and Intake is a must have anyway. Further than this you will need to upgrade your HPFP. This should be good for some 380 whp. Add Meth, ask V8bait for a custom tune and call it a day.

With this mods you are ready to support even more power later on with a bigger turbo f.e.

Is there any chance the Speedtech turbo kit fits? I'd reach out to them and see what they say
