So I have been running my Helix for the past year and I don't like the fact that my hardline is definitely a chokepoint because of the bend required to install the helix.

I'm looking at the solution @martymil made for his car, but I don't know the thread size of the hpfp.

-6

But do yourself a favor and do everything in -8 up to that point. The quick connect on the filter housing is 5/16.

I'm DBBL and I'll end up relocating the low sensor to my Y. That way I can hopefully not starve either pump and I'll get a better average pressure when both are online.

-8 is an overkill and pointless as the inlet on the hpfp pump internally is like a -2.

the outlet on the tank hat is like 3/8.

to many choke points everywhere else unless you change everything and both hpfp inlets are still limiting your flow.

Unless your run pi a -6 is more than ample.

The biggest choke points in our systems are the hardline and the hpfp filter in the inlet of the hpfp.

What fitting did you use to connect your custom line to the hpfp? I want to make sure I order the correct fitting to avoid any hassle

-6 is just fine for PI imo. I doubt many will ever need more. If you want overkill go -8 and split to -6 Y for hpfp and pi and return. Pump head pressure matters more. The cost of -6 vs -8 is basically nothing granted. But no reason to go larger for most people.

Check out this thread:

There is one by radium, I bought the short version of this but have not gotten around to testing it: http://www.radiumauto.com/M14-Inverted-Flare-to-6AN-Male-Fittings-P375.aspx

And this one from speedflow: https://www.speedflowdirect.com.au/metric-female-inverted-adapter

So what is the pump head pressures on -6 vs -8? (by the maths)
