After all the manifold testing we started thinking about turning things up. Left the car on the dyno today, and did a few more runs for fun. With some input from Ken@Wedgeperformance, we tweaked Justin's tune; upped the boost a little bit, added one degree of timing up to 6K. Voila 804WHP/741WTQ DI only. We knew the turbos had it in them. Great to see it fulfilled!

Car Details:

Do you guys think DI and the ported head played a big part of being able to hit 800whp?

Well we hit 777 DI only without the ported head; so it was worth a little anyway just based on that. DI in general does help. Not sure how these numbers would compare to a standard hpfp and a bunch of PI if we kept the boost and timing the same; I'd GUESS that you'd have to run it a little richer but who knows until you actually test. DI is a beautiful thing when operating within design parameters.

These are great numbers! Do you know what cfm your heads were able to flow after porting? Stock intake manifold?
