Hey guys,

Spun my crank hub and decided to rebuild the motor. Engine is running strong, but started to get the 2A9A code.

Things Ive done/checked:
*Swapped vanos solenoids
*Swapped cam sensors
*Checked timing
*Checked cam ledges (they were both perfect, and were updated to the teflon rings)
*Checked the reluctor wheel and it was solid.
*The vanos sprockets worked fine and were only brake cleaned before reassembly.

Symptoms-
*long crank and start (starts up perfectly, idles well etc)
*1/2 engine light

The only thing I could think of, is that the oil filter cap was unecessarily hard to tighten, which Ive read could cause oil pressure problems. Ill replace that and ill update this thread if I figure it out.

Thanks!
