E9X Mounting a Tablet in 335i? Ideas?

I finally got my MHD wifi adapter in so that I can use my tablet to monitor gauges, and log runs. I’ve using a Samsung Tab A6. It’s a 7.0” tablet, so it’s not huge…and just big enough to get a good view of 6 gauges.

I’d like to mount the tablet above the stereo, right where the top vents come out of the dash.

What’s the best way to mount this thing to the car so that it looks clean, will hold it nice and secure, and not damage the dash if I never want to remove the mount?

I’ve used this for my tablet with mhd wifi. It holds my iPhone 11 as well. It fits pretty damn securely in the cd slot. I don’t plan on using cds, and I’m guessing you aren’t either? Only real complaint is it rattles slightly. It covers the traction control button as well but you can feel around it.

Depends on the size but you could look at kudausa.com. I have used these for my phone for years and loved them. You may need to find the actual holder elsewhere but you could at least give them a look.

Current setup. Designed a bracket, cut it on my cnc, attached a strong magnet mount to the back of the tablet. Also made one for a buddy which utilizes the same bracket but with a printed tablet case for the nexus 7
